The property and grounds are beautiful, and the location is great for easy access to surrounding wineries, cities and towns, and stunning views. Very cool to stay in a 1000+ year old castle. Appreciate the hospitality.

This castle is very beautiful but rustic. This is a 13th century castle. We were a family of 5 (including 70+ and 2 kids under 14). This is not a typical Airbnb type like- cannot cook basic breakfast like eggs or anything. It has dishes and bowls but not pans or any such. The staircases were big and long- so it was difficult for the senior member of our family (no elevators/lifts) . Its huge and spacious. Loved the restaurant food.
Overall, the place is good if you are just a family with kids. It gets challenging when you have seniors travelling with you.

We had a really relaxing holiday here - loved the gardens, table tennis and pool area - and the cocktails on the terrace in the evening. Great restaurant and lovely staff too.

The Castel has so much Potential. I will recomend to paint Rooms in white, and kitchen is ok but it could re Design better. It was very clean. Great. Toskana is fastastic.

Perfect place to stay to visit wineries, staff are amazing and the Castle is beautiful I would recommend hiring a car if you are staying here

Montegufoni was our home for a week and the most fairytale setting for my son’s wedding. Everything was perfect—the accommodations wonderful and the food and service excellent. All around a place we all hope to return to. I can’t imag a more beautiful setting for a wedding.

my name is kaye parker and there was 6 in our party. oh my where to start from the mtime we arrived to the time we left our stay at montegufoni was awesome. the staff alone made the stay wonderful. our rooms were great and comfortable. the grounds were just breat taking, so well kept. we could not have ask for a better place to stay. the one nice thing its only 30 min. from florince for sightseeing, and the train to roam was right there. we would go back to montequfoni in a heartbeat. the last thing is we felt that for the cost of our rooms it maid it very afordable. this place was more than we could have wished for.

We had an excellent time at Montegufoni! The grounds and views are beautiful and absolutely serene. The food at the restaurant was the best we had the whole trip and Salvo was an excellent server. Thank you for a great, relaxing trip.

The whole area is beautiful a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the scenery. A great place to go to for artists. Also plenty to do and see. Italian people so friendly and helpful. I would recommend Castello Di Montefugoni wholeheartedly and have warm memories of how well we were looked after condsidering that there were 83 people in our wedding party.
