ALGEMENE BESCHRIJVING
Mooie stenen Toscaanse villa, daterend uit de 16e eeuw. De villa bestaat uit acht accommodaties en ligt diep verscholen onder de prachtige Chianti Classico wijngaarden. Deze accommodatie wordt nog altijd gekenmerkt door het familiewapen van de astronoom Galileo Galilei, die hier vele jaren geleden verbleef en zich liet inspireren door de schoonheid van het omringende landschap.
Dit huis werd gerestaureerd in 2010 met behoud van de oorspronkelijke architectonische kenmerken en zijn oude charme en werd omgebouwd tot 8 prachtige accommodaties.
Alle appartementen zijn gezellig en smaakvol ingericht in een typisch Toscaanse stijl met smeedijzeren bedden en mooie meubels.
Deze villa ligt in het hart van de Chianti Classico regio, op korte afstand van de kleine steden Panzano en Castellina in Chianti en van andere charmante dorpjes zoals Radda, Gaiole en Greve.
Het buitenterrein is goed onderhouden.
Gasten kunnen ontspannen genieten van de prachtige landschappen van Toscane.
De toegang tot het pand is via een onverharde maar goed onderhouden weg.
Afstanden: Panzano met diverse winkels op 6 km afstand, Castellina in Chianti 8 km, Siena 35 km afstand, San Gimignano 38 km, Florence (vliegveld) 50 km, Pisa (luchthaven) op 130 km afstand.
Tot beschikking van de gasten staat: grote buitenruimte rond het pand, gemeenschappelijk zwembad ( 12 x 6 m - min. diepte 1,4 m - max. diepte 1,6 m - open van 01/05 tot 30/09), kleedkamer, toilet en buitendouche (koud en warm water).
Parkeren op het terrein.
Aankomsten tussen 16.00 en 19.00 uur, latere aankomst worden niet geaccepteerd.

| Très belle propriété au milieu des vignes du Chianti. Tout a été refait recemment avec gout. Les propriétaires sont disponibles et prévenants. Bref un endroit idéal pour passer de bonnes vacances. |

We could not have wished for a better base to see Tuscany. The directions provided were great right up and to the last step which caused us some difficulties. A bit more detail here would be appreciated.
The villa itself was absolutely ideal and we could not have wished for more. The surroundings were picturesque and quiet despite several families also staying in the villa. The pool and grounds were extremely well kept and it was so relaxing just to spend time in the grounds.
Our villa was stunning and personally, I don't think the pictures on the website did it justice. It was more than we could have ever hoped for. The beds were big and comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed and the sitting room was incredibly comfortable. There was more room than we knew what to do with!
The owners were incredibly helpful and came out at odd hours several times to help us out. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble.
I'd book this villa again in a heartbeat. I can't say a bad word about it!
