ALGEMENE BESCHRIJVING
Deze oude, gezellige voormalige schuur is onlangs gerestaureerd met behoud van de oorspronkelijke, architectonische kenmerken en de mooie terracotta betegelde vloeren. Het hectare grote terrein is volledig omheind.
Het huis is rustig en panoramisch gelegen, net buiten het kleine middeleeuwse stadje Laterina in de regio Valdarno. Het huis biedt een prachtig ingerichte entree, een privé zwembad en een mooi interieur.
De locatie van Casa Marco is ideaal om de prachtige kunststeden van Toscane en Umbrië in het noorden te ontdekken.
De eigenaren wonen in een boerderij op ca. 50 m afstand.
De toegang tot de woning is via een onverharde maar goed onderhouden weg.
Afstanden: kruidenierswinkeltjes 600 m, Laterina met winkels voor dagelijkse boodschappen 1 km, Arezzo 19 km, het mooie stadje Cortona op 48 kilometer afstand, Siena 55 km, het meer van Trasimeno (stranden) 65 km, Florence 60 km, San Gimignano 77 km , Volterra 120 km, Lucca 145 km, Pisa (luchthaven) 161 km, Rome (luchthaven) 245 km.
Tot beschikking van de gasten: buitenshuis (gazon) met een bovengronds, achthoekig gevormd zwembad (5 x 5 m - diepte 1,2 m - open van 01/05 tot 30/09), buitendouche (koud water) , ingerichte patio, barbecue, broodoven, speeltoestellen voor kinderen.
Wasruimte (wasmachine) beschikbaar.
Parkeergelegenheid op het terrein.
Extra Diensten: Hulp in de huishouding beschikbaar op aanvraag (€ 12, - / per uur ter plaatse te betalen). Huisdieren zijn toegestaan tegen betaling van € 50,- /per week (betaling ter plaatse).
Op uw verzoek kan de eigenaar Toscaanse diners, dagelijkse excursies, museumbezoek en een dagcursus restauratie organiseren.

| Property is kept to high standard and handy for many Tuscan location (need a car rental although there is a train station a couple of miles down the road) but mostly the hosts are wonderful people. Don't get put off by the vicinity of the fast rail tracks, you'll hardly notice it. We were there as a family of 5 and loved every minute. Grazie. |

A very pleasant and charming romantic house. Very cosy and the house stays real cool and had all the comfort we needed. The owner of the property lives nearby and is very friendly, charming and helpful, as well as his family. We had a huge part of the garden for our own with real privacy. The pool was 5 x 5. Not big but my two sons 11 and 13 had a great time. Especially with the small cute dog and lots of young cats, so adorable.
If you want some peace and want to relax, reading a nice book enjoying the environment, its possible here. You don't hear the cars in the streets its very peaceful and quiet. Except for some dogs barking further on and the TGV(train) you hear once in a while. For us this place has given us a warm, beautiful memory. |
